info: axis cc bill payment date delay on record

in all other cards that i have, if i initiate a bill payment on 1st of the month (for eg.) and it gets credited to the cc account on 4th, the payment transaction is recorded as of 1st.

i paid bill on 1st Oct using my axis bank account thru the app, and the bill got credited on 4th Oct. the message that I received says that payment has been received on 4th. this would have got me in trouble if the payment due date was 3rd.

beware, and pay the bill at least 10 days before the due date at least for axis.

what's it reported in the app? Or better check in the statement when it's generated

Your statement will show the payment date as paid date i.e. 1st Oct, if you pay via the Axis app. Been paying on the last due date since last 5 months.
