Insurance payment auto-debit query

Hello All,

Need some urgent guidance. I have an insurance payment coming up on 12th Feb for a fixed maturity insurance (HDFC Life) for around INR 5L. I payed the full amount today from my cc not realising that the auto-debit mandate was also set for 12th Feb. HDFCs turn-around-time for cancellation of mandates is 12 days. Their customer service team is non-responsive via mail and not picking up calls saying that my registered number is incorrect (Though the correct number is updated online). Please guide on what could be done to avoid triggering the auto-debit payment.

I have cancelled the HDFC life's token on CC via CC portal. Unable to cancel the mandate via SI Hub. Would this be enough and would it attract any penalties?
