Hi All,

I have an upcoming insurance premium payment for my LIC Term insurance (>80k) - i was wondering what is the best way to pay the premium to churn the maximum reward points on one of my existing credit cards?

I understand that not all credit cards offer reward points on insurance payments?

My CC portfolio -

1) HDFC Regalia
2) HDFC Tata Neu Infinity
3) HSBC Visa Platinum
4) Axis Ace

Thanks a lot in advance!!! 🙌🏼

Buy Amazon pay gift card from HDFC smartbuy portal with Regalia card and pay for insurance premium. monthly cap for AGV is rs. 10000 only. That u need to consider and accumulation to be done.

  1. Axis Ace - doesn't payout any cashback.
  2. HDFC Regalia -Reward points accrued for Insurance transactions will have a maximum cap of 2,000 per day.
  3. HSBC - Never used Platinum, but Cashback card gives flat 1.5%.
  4. Tata Neu - Not sure about.

I do not want to create a new thread, so asking this in a similar thread that is also latest.

I have Apay ICICI, Flipkart Axis, HDFC Millenia Credit card, HDFC Platinum Debit card, IndusInd Legend credit cards.
What is the best app and payment method to renew car insurance (₹4000-₹5000)?

@4uziaul @Abhishek012 Any help guys?

I need to make insurance payments directly on Star Health's website as it is giving a 5% discount. What credit card I can use?
Here is my preference, Please let me know if the below card will give me the mentioned cashback.?
1. Standard Chartered Smart - 2% (please confirm if applicable to insurance also)
2. Indusind Legend - 1.5% (on weekends)
3. Hdfc Millenia -1%
4. Amazon Pay ICICI - 1%

@Abhishek012 do you know any app or any way to pay Insurance Premium by Prepaid/Credit card with MCC other than Insurance and Utility.
I think insurance premium official website allow you to pay through prepaid cards.

Axis Ace card give you unlimited 2% on Ongo wallet load because here merchant is Telecom.

Before load money first go to insurance premium official website and enter Ongo RuPay prepaid card details and check card otp page open or not.

But i need to pay from Gosats Prepaid card which is now giving 3 percent but in this offer they have excluded Insurance for this offer. Any app like Park Plus but it is not accepting prepaid card.

I had to pay 5L premium for an HDFC endowment policy. I used Infinia and capped RP at 5000. Is there a better way to do this? Can single premium be split across multiple days? Insurance website doesn't allow that.
