Most GVs are single use, depending on the merchant, some might allow partial redemptions.
This should be mentioned in the T&C of the GV while purchasing.

As you are already aware, Axis Bank has issued notices to many Atlas credit card holders, requesting invoices for their spending on travel categories over the last few months. Axis Bank has suspended affected customers' Edge Reward accounts and asked them to submit these invoices within 30 days. Otherwise, they will cancel the credit card, citing commercial use (non-personal) of their credit cards.

thats upto the bank, whatever we feel ok maynot be ok to bank. so anything can happen anytime and be prepared for it.

1. SBI deducting reward points/charge for the points aquired during instant discount offers.
