I need some advice with inward remittances to State Bank of India. My friend and I both receive our salaries from the same overseas employer. The transfers are done on the same date, time and via the same SWIFT code. The only difference is that we use different SBI branches.
I have noticed a consistent and significant difference in the final amount credited. My friend is getting 35-50 paise more than me and this has been the case with every single salary transfer. I would like to know what might be the reason and how to get the same rate.
