For me I am always confused about devices.
I want all. Samsung OS to have Samsung ecosystem apps, freedom to root and do my own stuff, pixel features like unlimited storage and their vanilla smoothness, iPhone like security and premium feel. and then a small form-factor. All those on a good price.
Currently using NP2 and Poco F5 for last 2 years. Maybe next year I will change.
I did not research much about this budget version 16e.
Bur my usual recommendation is : Don't go for these budget models for a bit of savings, go for the main model , if you can afford
I agree flagships have their own merit. However my use case has been limited to having a phone where basic needs are met along with decent battery, storage, max possible software updates.
Considering this and my existing budget only 3 options were there:
1. Samsung - S24, S24 FE
2. Google - Pixel 9
3. Apple - iPhone 16e
Since they provide 6-7 years of OS updates. Got to know this time there’s no offer on 16e on Amazon GIF or Flipkart BBD. Hence went ahead with the deal through reliance digital.
