If you check flipkart iPhone se(2nd gen) 13 14 15 Pages, the ratings will be in Lakhs, Only 5-10%* who buys a product writes a review & maybe 20%** gives a rating. So the actual Number of buyers will be very high & these purchases coming from tier 2, 3 cities, towns & villages. These numbers are from One Platform only & iPhones are available across the different Online & Offline stores. Imagine the actual number of sales for Apple. Few years back iphone is a sour grape which is accessible for only few sections of people Now people are buying it like chocolates . Of course most are on EMI only, but still. Indians Are Rich but India is Poor(maybe middle class) Country

Lot of these reviews are created by bots in one way or other. Google Chrome sometime back had this plugin where if you goto any product page on Amazon or FK it used to show stats like total ratings or reviews vs actual reviews written by users vs bots. I forgot its name.

The disposable income in our country has been rising.

People are spending more which is a good sign.

Not just iPhones, investments in Mutual Funds have gone up, Swiggy/Zomato order volumes have gone up, overall we're going in the right direction.
There will be some spillover in this where people might spend their money on things that look worthless right now but it's fine, let them enjoy life too! 🙂
