Hello, I have got axis select as pre approved but it’s not LTF nor FYF.
As of now I only have Hdfc Moneyback plus cc.
Should I go for it?

Calculate your spending pattern and also compare rewards with current card. If you find this card can give some good benefits, then take it. Otherwise reject it and wait for any good card or LTF offer

good is a relative term. it depends upon your spending and the area where you live.

for the first year, you pay 3000+gst, you get a 2000 amazon voucher. there is a swiggy offer of AXIS200, twice every month. 2x reward points on retail spending, which is a hit or miss. there is a BigBasket offer every month of 20% off upto Rs 500
You can take the card for the first year, and if it fits your spends then keep it or else cancel after 10 months.
Axis does not give any good rewards cards as LTF except if you are a wealth customer.

If you spend more than 6L, you are not charged annual fees also.
You will get limit enhancement offer also in this card every 9-10 months.

If are not going to spend 1L per month for at least 3-4 months do not jump on the wagon of Magnus.
I am using this card for quite some time and I love it. If you have any specific questions you can ask.

Basic rules, if your spends are aligned to card features go for it without worrying about fee. There's always a conditional fee waiver or you get benefitted by paying fee.

Is there any renewal benefit for Axis select card? Also the Edge Rewards earned, How do I know how much the earning from Axis Select alone? I also have Magnus and the Edge Rewards just shows one number.
If I close the Axis Select Card, Will I forfeit the points accumulated through Select card? How do I know how much I will forfeit?
Having Magnus, do not feel having a Select card is worth it without any renewal benefit.

Select renewal benefits include only the renewal of bb, bms, swiggy offers. Nothing else.

As far as i know you can't know which edge rewards came form which card. May be customer care can give such breakup. If you have magnus then select is useless. If you have spend beyond 1L then other better cards available compare to select.

No idea about reward point forfeiture if card closed.

For me savings per month
Bigbasket = 500
Swiggy = 400
BMS = 300
Total 1200 per month.
Plus you get domestic and international lounge access(Priority pass renews on spending 3L) and golf. I find it's a good card for lifestyle and shopping. Not for rewards though.

For 1st year its good.. i got 2k Amazon voucher, and i have used it on swiggy frequently..

But if you're using on bookmyshow, big basket also then it's best .

I got fk axis and myzone using this card, before renewal i will ask for fees waiver though i didn't spend much, if they didn't i will close it ..

im using this card along with atlas since a month, just kept this card for better chances of getting upgrades or LE as atlas cant be upgraded.
its better to keep 1 rewards category card especially if ur aiming for magnus.

Thanks All. Mostly I do not have a use for it. But the renewal charge has been applied and cancelling now does not revert the renewal fees. So will keep it for this year and cancel it. Hopefully get eke out 3.5K benefits if possible.
