Is it possible to change the name that was printed on HDFC debit card?

HDFC by default prints first name and last name(which i personally don't prefer) on the debit card. I want to change it something similar to my other cards from other banks.Has anyone able to change it online without having to visit the branch. Or anyone atleast was able to change it in branch even?

Also no, I am not talking about random name. I just want one letter from first and include middle name, That's it.

Anyway, that's too much effort. I guess I will just visit branch.

I just want to change "{First-Name} {Last-Name}" to "{F} {Middle-Name} {Last-Name}. This is how I have it on my kotak debit card and axis credit card as they ask for name to be printed when opening account/card.

HDFC printed my name as in Aadhaar. Things may have changed now.

My name in PAN is full name (like first name last name). But, in Aadhaar, it is just first name with initial.

I don't think single letter is allowed in PAN.

Lol, they didn't print my name according to neither Aadhar or PAN. Because in both aadhaar and in PAN, it's "{First-Name} {Middle-Name} {Last-Name}".

But in card they printed as "{First-Name} {Last-Name}"

it is allowed, ur not technically changing ur name, ur changing "name that would like to print on your pan card".. my initial single letter and my name.

though in my case i didnt find that much, so changed to full name and same applied new cards whenever I apply.

i think nowadays they linked everything to aadhar, so not sure whether it still applies or not.
