All the recent devaluation which happened in the last few months has made one point clear. The mid range cards and below doesn't provide the lounge access without any spend criteria imposed.
A very few cards are in the market like Tata neu and Federal cards are currently offering lounge without spending criteria but I believe the downgrade is somewhere around the corner.
One can argue that lounges are getting crowded and this step might be beneficial for high end cards but this kills the great experience which non frequent fliers like me use to get. I got indusind legend only for the lounge access and now it's close to no use card. I was planning to get AU ixigo rupay version but looks like spending criteria has been imposed recently. Another one in my watchlist is Tata neu but am in a confused mindset now.
