is physical verification compulsory for hdfc bank credit card?

i have never held a hdfc card before
i'm getting ltf tata neu card which im thinking to apply
but is the physical verification a necessity with hdfc bank?

If you're a customer of HDFC bank, then not necessarily.
But if you're a new customer, then they'll do it.

residence is fine, and i work from home don't know if that's going to be an issue, i got itr if needed

I have choosen my permanent address as delivery address but now my company is calling me to office, in this case what should I do if agent comes for verification? Since I'm travelling to office I won't be available in my permanent address.
