Is SBI approving cashback cards?

I called SBI support for a SBI cashback card and they said due to chip problem they are not accepting cashback cc applications. Is this true?

It works for international payments and you get cashback also. My card is not working on PayPal that's it.

Net reward rate of 0.9% is ok, I guess but it's only on online transactions. Would've taken it up if you could get it for POS and contactless too

Yes, but I will pay bill from HDFC so 1% from there, I am trying to get IDFC cc but they disapproved my card after showing a 1.7L limit while applying
