Imagine if TDS deduction from salary is not there:

1. Salary credited to bank account will increase. Better chance for a credit card upgrade.
2. Instead pay the advance tax and fulfill the spend milestone for credit card annual fee waiver for premium cards.
3. Forget to pay the tax on regular basis. Pay the full year tax while filing IT return. Take personal loan to bridge the shortfall in bank balance. Additional interest may apply for delay in tax payments.
4. Personal loan will further increase TRV with the bank.
