I was getting message from airtel that you are pre- qualified from October but didn’t applied. Now I am getting this message, is this a pre-approved offer?
I dont have axis bank account this message is from airtel.

Bro (upto) means pre-qualified not pre-approved and airtel doesn't even send these kind of messages.

Can you share the message header? It doesn't look like an official SMS from Airtel as no company writes like this with so called upto credit limit. If it is a pre-approved offer then credit limit assigned will also be pre-defined. These upto Rs 5 lakh credit limit SMS are generally from Paisabazaar or from any other 3rd party companies.

This message is definitely from airtel.

I also received message advertising Airtel Xstream from same sender.

This was not a pre-approved offer as I got a cibil enquiry by axis bank. But application is conditionally approved. Will do vkyc tomorrow.
