I wanted to know from @Abhishek012 whether rupay variant is available with this account, may be with some effort although it's visa by default.
Earlier when RBI issued circular to seek public opinion, there were all cards even DC and Pre-paid Card. But later on, excluded or withdrawn the same. So, no luck.

No effort will work here, unless thier product team/management/concerned department makes a decision.

Why you need Rupay Platinum? You can look for some other available A/cs, SA with Jio Payments Bank, Bro/Lite A/c of BOB, there are many more.

I was asked told that post closure of an another A/c, I will become eligible. Closure request can be placed only after visiting the branch, told by the executive.
Woww, at least some positive response.🙂
So can we just close old 811, without closing the existing Spendz one..? Like, may be this works. May be they directly open 811 super?.😃

Actually, I was also thinking about this, but branch people totally denied here...

But as they have said to you, go through please and give the update bro...we all are waiting for a solution ultimately....🙏🏻

I have few rupay plat DC like Eq, ICI etc. but needed more. More the merrier. Was thinking if it can be done without opening new accounts.

called cc, and they converted by 811 to super 811 and debited 300 fees too within 2 mins, sent me sms for consent.
so I received the check book and debit card within like 3 days of acc coversion. I have a Q, what happens to my old debit card? it still shows in the app. I have used new debit card for 10 rs so it is activated but old debit card isn't doing away. Is this supposed to be like this?

I have hotlisted my old debit card as it has some AMC charges. I don't see any benefit to keep two cards
