It says customer initiated credit transaction, so it has to be the add money option or transfer from other bank account of the customer.

I don't think Kotak can track a transaction, if it is direct transfer by the customer from a different bank. So, add money is the best option to fulfill the terms of the cashback.

Yes, I agree refunds are excluded but the term customer means third party is also excluded.

At present they enabled any credit except reversals for cashback eligibility (based on members feedback here), So they are not following the terms.
I can't argue further! 🙂

Let it be, do what you think is correct! ✌️

811 Super debit card charge is included in this annual fee of ₹300.

You also get enhanced cash withdrawal limit of up to 1 lac per day, 10 transactions in a month for free at Kotak ATM.
Thanks for the clarification, I somehow confused with that only, and that cash withdrawal limit is nice

A little off topic here but I enabled ActivMoney recently, and one thing I am not sure, if I have 1L in total, and the available balance is 25K (after 75K is sweeped out), can I still make a transaction of say 50K? Or the max that I can make is 25K only, and after deduction the money would be sweeped in??

Yes you can make transaction upto your total balance (including sweeped out fd balance).
In your example you can make upto 1L transaction. Money is automatically sweeped in to complete the transaction.

The thread is too long to read. Can I just get a brief summary where this 5 percent is best to utilise?

Also, for my usecase which I can think of is booking Indigo flights directly from their site. I don't have any good card for this.

Also, will this cashback work for utilities?
