After reading this thread, last week I opened a 811 super account with 10k funding and done the cc payment by using the red coloured virtual dc. Physical dc on transit. Will I get cashback for the transaction done by using the virtual card or need to do once again through Physical dc to get the cashback.
No, as you did the payment with red dc.
It's rather simple actually - the spends on platinum card are only eligible for 5% cashback and any other methods aren't. Wait till platinum debit card shows up on your app then you're good to go.
They haven't even issued the new dc for super 811 . Neither virtual not physical. I am said to separately request for a dc, but then again I am only getting option of PVR debit card on Kotak app. Meanwhile I can't even access the new Kotak 811 app. Wtf Kotak !!!

You can, I've held 811 simple for more than 2 yrs now, and wasn't even aware that there was some 811 separate app, now after upgrading to super, I keep one logged into kotak bank and another 811, please try yourself.
To me, it's showing please use 811 app.

Kotak changed t&c. U will receive cashback on 30th every month based on eligibility of previous month. (Plz. don't ask what happens in Feb).

just for the sake of keeping it clear - there's no separate platinum virtual dc, it's the same physical card that's displayed in the app. It'll be visible in the app only if there's a physical platinum dc.
