Kotak email to close the 6E-XL card

I am planning to close the card and wanted to go though email route to have the record. Does anyone have recent experience in closing Kotak credit card? Any email or reference to close the card faster.

Clear your dues, call customer care you want to close. They will arrange a call back from retension team. Again stick to your point of card closure. They will take your request. Voila card closed

My Kotak FD based card was closed in less than 1 week (including breaking FD and transferring it to my savings ac)

i didn't get any confirmation mail but i do see no card listed on the app. so i am assuming this is closed.

Why do you want to close? Is it not worthy to use to have rewards and redeem against a Indigo flight?
I am asking because recently my wife got it pre-approved.

Better take any cashback or other card. The rewards system is so bad, you have to wait for travel to be over and then 90/120 days to get the points. using points is another pain, can not be used for seat selection or food and only be used for flight without any offer. I have more thank 2K point left but don't wanted to use as won't be getting any benefit. same price you can get on other OTA website after card discount and you will be rewards points in addition. That's my opinion as I did not even waited for year to close it 🙂
