Kotak not hitting CIBIL

I tried applying for kotak ioc rupay card but as soon as I enter my phone number, I get reply as no offer. There is no CIBIL hit as well. Any idea why?

I found the reason. I had an account 5-10 years back and closed it. If CRN is present, credit card application will check their internal database and not CIBIL. They are rejecting due to old relationship.

kotak follows 2 types of enquiries

1. relationship with the bank

2. normal cibil hard enquiry, physical verifcation address or office (if we pass 1)

I closed the savings account several years back. But their system wants me to login and apply for card. When I try to login, it says customer not found. I think I need to resolve this by opening an account again.
