Kurukshetra Netflix

Have been watching Kurukshetra on Netflix.

Amazing visuals and narration. Carried the story in detail with characters, with back and forth narration giving much context to understand.
Growing up with watching our demigod NTR 's epic movies, have known a lot about the main characters like Krishna, Arjuna, etc. But didn't know about few characters.

Perhaps this is the first non-NTR epic that I liked. For a Telugu guy it's hard to digest any movie/series without NTR as Krishna/Ram. But this netflix series changed my opinion.

Entire family glued to the TV and binge watched 12 episodes of 18 . The rest 6 are yet to be aired.

The closing line of the last episode was in reference to "Aswatthama hathah kunjaraha", where the lord mentions that "today the battle is won with misinformation and this might become the norm in the future". How true it is ?

Learnt that a name of the battle elephant is "Supratika" owned by the king of Pragjyotisha ( today's Assam), Bhagadatta. No wonder the name Supratik is popular in Bengal and north eastern states.
