Late Payment fee

Hi,

I have been using credit card since last 5 years and last month I somehow missed my ICICI credit card bill payment. As soon as I realised I made the payment. Can I ask ICICI Bank to reverse the fees as a one time exception.

Yes, and also tell them not to report the delay in payment to CIBIL.

Yes They did. My Credit Score dropped by almost 70 points. It's still not recovered to where it was.

The same happened with me sadly in the month of August. I am using Credit cards since 2018 and have never missed any payment. But somehow I missed the payment for Amazon Pay ICICI card by 13 days and they have reported this to all the bureaus and because of this my CIBIL has taken a hit of 70 points and has went from 787 to 717. Apart from that 1K as late payment fine. I called the bank but straight away told me that nothing can be done now. I don't know my CIBIL will increase and how it will affect my application for future loan & Credit card.
