Regalia Gold Limit Increase for Regalia Gold after 6 months

Hi All,

I got Regalia Gold in the month of March-2024(16th March) and have been using it since then, I have completed the milestones and have already spent a little over 4 Lac since then, the limit I was offered then was 1.5L, I was short of limit last month and had to top-up money on card to keep using it.

I also took a UPI Rupay card as secondary card in July with shared limit.

I mailed HDFC regarding limit increase for regalia gold to Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com a week back and they responded that they are unable to increase the limit for now.

Can anyone confirm when I will be eligible for a limit increase, will it be from March 2024 (when I got Regalia) or will it be from July (when I got RuPay card).

I think they will ask for your other bank credit card statement or your ITR for limit enhancement, however HDFC is very adamant on enhancing limit or upgrading their cards and will always cite "internal policy" for unable to enhance. You should be eligible for LE in 6 months through.

That's what they have been telling me for now.
