I updated the SBI App yesterday and got limit increase option under benefits section in the SBI App.

My limit went from 1.32 to 2.32 for my exactly 1 year old SBI Cashback card.

Do try and check.

I have Cashback card of limit 3.61 lakhs since last 1 year. I have tried limit increase multiple times through the app but each time it says you are not eligible as per internal policy. So guess I need to look for other avenues.

When I apply for other pre-approved cards of SBI portal, limit gets allocated from main limit. That is why. Also thinking of applying for Aurum. So ultimately total limit will get reallocated.

After a lot of wait, finally got the option for a credit limit increase and opted for the same. I got a 1L (5.5 to 6.5, had requested 7.5) bump in limit in my CB card. This gives me hope I may be able to get a card from them after struggling with the infamous overleverage issue.

After lot of unsuccessful attempts at limit increase, today I received automatic Limit increase offer in SBI Card app. I received 100% credit limit increase for my Cashback card from 3.61 lakhs to 7.22 lakhs. My monthly average spends is from 25k to 35k.

Observed another problem with another user..

s/he got offer that if applied additional card (rupay cards) they're eligible to increase limit to 30% than current limit (they're showing full limit).

But if we select exact 30% calculation in 'credit limit increase' option, it got rejected multiple times due to internal policies or no such offer exist.

s/he got offer that if applied additional card (rupay cards) they're eligible to increase limit to 30% than current limit (they're showing full limit).

I am also planning to apply some other card (hoping) to get extra credit limit but if they ask for existing limit split before card approval, I will ask them to reject application or I will not activate card if they approve and send
