Limit on Cash withdrawal from Home branch

Hi i have saving accounts in HDFC, ICICI, IDFC, SBI and Kotak bank.

Is there any daily/monthly limit for cash withdrawal via home branch as i need to take cash more then 20 lakhs for purchase a real estate where only cash is accepted.

if anyone has withdrawn large cash amount can you share your experience

I don't think there is any limit if you yourself are going to the home branch for withdrawal. However, keep in mind in case of Small Branch there might be cash shortage in the Branch and you have to inform them 1 day before since your amount is large

There is no limit. But you should be careful of tax implications and have proper paperwork to backup your cash spend. You'll get flagged for withdrawing that much cash especially to purchase real estate. You should have a proper paper trail for government. When i got married i took out a lot of cash for misc expenses and just had a letter showing the intent & purpose and got it signed by the bank and kept for my record.
