It's been around 2 weeks since I've asked my virtual RM to link my mother's women's savings account to my classic banking account with HDFC. How long does it actually take? Should I register a complaint. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
It takes 1-2 days at Max, did you fill the family banking form with signature?
If yes have a word with your RM and if nothing is helping just write an email. And your work will be done in a day

Definitley two weeks is a very long period.
Options :
1) Talk to RM
2) Call Classic Customer Support. They will tell you whther it is registered and the current status.

I talked to my RM multiple times, she said she has taken the request and it's in progress. Initially she said it'll be completed in 1-2 days and now she's saying it would take another 4-5 working days. I will call the classic helpline number tomorrow and check from their side. Thank you so much.
Update: I called classic helpline and they said they can't check from their side if there's any pending request. I went ahead and created a complaint on HDFC complaint portal. Let's see how it goes now. I'll escalate to PNO if it's not resolved.

Cust ID most probably would be same for both accounts. If you upgrade one other will get auto upgraded as it is done on customer level, not on account level

Linking of accounts will be initiated by the RM only but you need to confirm it from the customer care as well. In HDFC it takes time; my family's accounts haven't been linked to my Preferred account for almost a month.
