Hey everyone…I am going to Canada in September and I'm thinking of getting a forex card. Googled best forex cards in India and found BookMyForex forex card on top. I then checked BookMyForex’s site and the exchange rates are pretty good like exact mid-market rates and way lower than HDFC and Axis banks. Has anyone used BookMyForex card? Just wanted to know your experience with it. Any advice would be super helpful 🙂

Are you moving there or traveling?
What about 0 Forex Cards in case traveling?
Just traveling…this BookMyForex card is a zero markup forex card, but I’m interested in hearing about people’s experiences using it abroad.

Thanks for this but I’m actually looking for feedback from someone who has used the card abroad. Any issues or things I should know about before getting it…

I have used the bookmyforex card for both ATM withdrawals and in-store purchases during my trip to Europe & I didn’t face any major issues. The rates were better than the niyo card my husband was using…we both were confused actually as to why bookmyforex’s rates were always lower and better considering both are zero markup cards. Reloaded my card twice through their app from abroad, which took only a few minutes.

I’ve seen a lot of people online saying Niyo’s rates are not as great as they tell. Seems like something’s a bit off. BookMyForex rates definitely look better. You mentioned using the card for ATM withdrawals…what were the charges for that?

I also got one for myself last month after doing proper research and I think it was a fair decision. Used it for 10 days straight during my trip to the US. It was accepted everywhere I needed it, like stores, restaurants, and even for Ubers. I did run out of balance at one point (lol, overspent!), but topping it up was thankfully easy. I’d say go for it…it’s pretty handy

Like how? what’s the benefit of linking it?
You can track the balance, reload the card, unload the card, generate virtual card, lock/unlock the card, etc. You can probably do everything on the site too I think, but I found the app way more convenient

Has anyone here got bmf student forex card? I use their Yes Bank co branded card but they have recently launched a student version too. I am asking bcz my sister is traveling to US for her studies. What features of it are student-friendly? Any opinions?

I follow bookmyforex on Insta and I saw on their account that a new card has been launched for students. From what I remember, the card has free ATM usage, etc. Check their latest posts..
