Looks like ICICI guys are not convinced

I am asking to remove multiple credit enquiries which are made for one ICICI card.
These ICICI tele callers made 3 applications for 1 card and 3 enquiries reported in my cibil. Finally, I got only 1 sh*t card HPCL coral with drop in cibil score
Use that to get APay. Then ICICI Platinum and if you want close the HPCL one later as it has AF.

About CIBIL, I don't think they will remove that easily, but maybe others have more relevant experience here to share.

Tell them these enquiries were made without your consent and will escalate to RBI BO if the bank doesn't remove them.

i had a similar case.
so i applied for an icici card; completed the online process. everything done.
but one day later call comes saying that you've shown interest and we want your consent to check the cibil.
I said that i finished my application and i don't give consent again to check. thankfully i got the card and no fuss happened. only one cibil hit and i got the card.

I have similar case with Axis Bank when I applied for Airtel Axis CC. Axis did 2 enquiries for approving a card with shared limit. I was successful in removing CIBIL enquiries from report.
Let me share my experience here to help in case anyone else is in similar situation.

I applied for Airtel Axis CC from Jio number through Airtel Thanks app. I was already holding 2 cards with Axis - Atlas & Magnus.
After 2 days of applying I got the intimation of CIBIL enquiry. I waited for my card to approve which took around 18 days from applying to physically receiving the card.

After receiving I checked the CIBIL report and found 2 entries from Axis. After activating the card, I immediately shot a mail to Axis PNO regarding the issue. They replied saying they need CIBIL report downloaded from CIBIL website to check and rectify the issue.

I didnt have CIBIL membership and already used 1 free report download. So I went on Axis website and downloaded the free CIBIL report. The report has AXIS bank logo on top. I attached that with mail and asked them to consider the report as it is generated by Axis Bank server. After 2 days, their standard reply stating that they can’t accept that report and need CIBIL website downloaded report only.

After this I wrote a strongly worded mail to Axis PNO stating that multiple enquiry issue was caused due to poor backend system and process in Axis and Axis themselves are not confident enough that report generated by their servers is good to consider. I also threatened them that I will be writing to RBI regarding same highlighting their technologically backward system if they dont remove multiple enquiries within 2 days.

After that they immediately accepted the report and mentioned duplicate enquires will be removed within a week. They also called me and confirmed that they will be removing all duplicate enquiries done by Axis in past also so please wait for a week to implement it. I was ok with that and enquiries were removed within 3 days.

They not only removed both enquiries for Airtel Axis CC but also deleted duplicate enquiry done by them in March this year which I didn’t noticed. Sometimes we have to be harsh as we stand on correct ground.
