Looks like no 30% bonus on Marriott transfer this year in India... True or False?
There is no 30% bonus offer this year. Looks like it was a promotional offer from Amex for a couple of years, and once it appeared that most people are aware of this offer. They have stopped giving this offer.

People should plan things without relying on a 30% offer. It's not mandatory for Amex to offer it every year.
It was a one-time opportunity. Who knows if it will ever come back? Even my friends opened Amex credit cards just for Marriott offers and got rekt this year.

One can never be sure. Prior to COVID, this bonus was once offered in the month of April. Post COVID, they offered this bonus once in October and once in November. So there doesn't appear to be any consistency as far as this bonus is concerned.
Amex to Marriott 1:1 is still a great transfer rate otherwise, considering how easy it is to accumulate Amex points.

Last year I accumulated 63+ K points. Used 30% promotinal offer. Got aroud 80K + points.
Used those points this year at Westin powai lake gor 5 days.
Got lucky.
This year I am also waiting for 30 % offer. But sadly offers is not there.

This year insted they provided 30% back offer in nov. Not specific to bonvoy but for all redemption.

First I used MRCC for 7 to 8 months and received 30k points using RM.
Then got upgraded to Platinum travel card...
I and my family had some travel expenditures...
Also used gyftr for amazon.
Finished 4 lakh on Plat travel in 3 months and got around 60k points
Referred 3 friends and got 24k points
Total 1 lakh+ points.

If you transfer 100 points to Marriott, You will get 30 extra i.e., 130 Marriott bonvoy points.
Yes. I am aware. Insted of marriot this year amex gave 30% back offer as no marriot offer this year.
This 30% back is the new offer rolled out by amex in replacement of old offer
