Lost 10 clothes worth 60k in Air India flight fronm Bangalore to delhi on 29th December, 2024

Hello,

I really need all of your help in claiming/finding my lost clothes while travelling back from Bangalore to Delhi.
I was travelling with my wife. I am Maharaja club gold member.

I gave 3 trolley bags at checkin counter. 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large trolley.
I was travelling after vacation. I had lots of branded clothes in my large trolley bag.
Among the 10 lost clothes, 2 was GANT jacket, 2 GANT shirts, 1 GANT sweater, 1 jack & jones jean, 1 jack & jones trouser, 1 Rare rabbit jean, 1 levis shirt and 1 non branded tshirt. All amounting near 60k.

I have already written an email to baggageservices@dnata.com but they didn’t replying.

Please help

From your post, it’s unclear whether your larger trolley or just the clothes were lost.

Have you contacted Air India at the airport?

How is that possible didn't you num locked your bag?

Air India employees might have found a way around baggage claim, just steal the items and pass on the suitcase. Try the baggage claim process. I hope you understand that the chances of anything happening is Slim. Avoid Air India that's all there is for now.

Just a week back a youtuber went through similer shit, he didn't get his and I dont think you would. Time to write off the losses.

May be this is a revenue stream for AirIndia, cuz they would have started cleaning house by now. But this seems like planned and organized.

hi. I didn’t lock it. I really had no idea that with so much security and cctv, someone can just open trolley and steal the clothes. I never lock the trolley in domestic flights.

It’s really disheartening. I messaged delhi airport on twitter. They suggested to file an e-FIR. I filed it a day back. Still no update on the website. Don’t have any hopes of getting my clothes back.
