Lost/Not delivered SBI card after swap request - Trick to get card details.

Looking at this forum, I found a thread about SBI card-swapping steps.


So I went ahead and asked them for swapping my Pulse card to Vistara but they directly declined hence I raised a closure request and got the call the next day. They tried a lot saying you already paid for the fee so the card is free for the next 10 months, why close it so I simply said I don't see any rewards for paying the fees.

At last, they agreed to swap it. I asked for SBI Vistara but they said it's not available, only available cards are Prime, Elite, Air India, simple click, simply save, and BPCL, so I went for an Air India card, and got my fees reversed on the 26th of June.

The real game started after this, they said it will be delivered in 7 days but it did not. So I raised a service request on 3rd July, and they said to wait till 10th July, and we will get back to you.

So I waited till 10th July but no communication and no sign of the physical/digital card. Hence I replied to that request and they said to wait till 17 July again.
Now Amazon prime day is around the corner I was frustrated and remembered @ALOAK words that he also faced this and sbi lost his card so he cancelled.

Immediately I went to the service section and raised a "lost and stolen" request and reissue request for that card yesterday. I got an SMS today to view my new card details, and I got a digital card instantly.

Are you able to use the digital card. I was not able to use the digital card. Customer care said, it will get activated once the card gets delivered.
 
I got a link in sms, where I was able to see the entire card number and CVV, but the transactions would not go through as transaction settings could only be updated after the physical card delivery. And thanks to SBI, i never received my physical card.
You can't even use digital card as only last 4 numbers visible rest all triple xxx

Yes. So the sms they send is to set up/activate your card pin and all, in that process we can see the whole card number and CVV so I took a screenshot. But now I can't see the card number again on sbi app or website. Thank god I took a screenshot. Really frustrating customer service and user experience.

i activated and updated transaction settings from sbi card website. you can login using new card number and enable online transactions.

My physical card never reached me after blocking and reissuing it 4 times. Finally, I had to cancel it. Twice the CC agents also said they will send via bluedart but it never happened.

let's see, I'm still waiting for my reissued card to be delivered. will use it in online sales and if I don't receive it, ill reissue it again, and ill get a refund for the reissue fees.
