Lounge access limit

1. What happens if we exceed the limit of quarterly/annual lounge access on credit or debit card? Does the transaction fail or does the card get automatically charged the full amount?

2. Can we swipe the same card in the same lounge twice in the same day? For example, during a long layover.

Usually transaction goes thro' and you will be charged ~$27. Make sure you keep a count. There used to be an automated helpline for determining that some years ago (operated by either Visa/MC), not sure if it exists still though. But your CC helpline should be able to tell you the count anytime.
