Magnus card international institution fee payment

Hey Technifino Community,

Do you have any idea if paying fees to international institute count as monthly milestone and does it offers rewards too for it. Wanted a suggestion is it worth it as i have zero forex exchange card as well. Should i pay through this or stick to zero forex charge card.

If u r nearing the milestone benefits I mean 1l in magnus then zero mark up card not required since Magnus card rewards will beat it

The fees itself is more than 1 lcs. That is not my concern its just will i get the reward points is my concern.

I have not come across this exclusion. If you have Reserve, it gives 2x points for international transactions. So use it if you have.

Fee/Educational payments are NOT excluded for Magnus rewards
You'll get regular ER rewards and it will be counted towards both the monthly milestone and annual milestone. This is for the base amount
1-2 days later you will see a Foreign currency transaction charge and GST on the same. No reward points for that and it is not included in the milestones

Where u got to know it’s excluded? Actually i didn't know , just wanted a clearification. Because payment of tuition fees from cred app or any other is not counted towards milestones that i came to know from one of my friend.

Just try for small amounts and see whether you get Edge Rewards then try paying lakhs
