Hello everyone. With this post, I want to start discussing whether it would be a good idea to hit milestones for August month before Axis removes the milestone benefits.

My idea is :
Pay 80K for Advanced Tax
Buy 20K worth of Amazon Pay vouchers

This way, we can hit milestones easily. And for Burgundy holders, this would translate to a return of 31% just for paying taxes, which is great. What are your thoughts on this?

I am planning to go to masai mara so I will be booking flight tickets from travel edge worth rs 1 lakh. Also I will claim lta. Problem is that the accor customer support are not responding to emails. Spoke with them on phone they acknowledged reciept of email but didn't reply yet lol. Also on twitter they just said we will respond 😀

How will you claim LTA? It is only applicable for domestic travel and not international

It's not 100% sure that existing Magnus becomes LTF with burgundy. Axis on twitter DM said it's not going to happen.
But few people on the forum said they got a confirmation from their RM.

We have to wait and see. It's not mentioned officially anywhere.

That is not sure either. All they said is get burgundy and avail unmatched features on Magnus.

Advance Tax dates are:

15th June for Q1
15th Sept for Q2
15th Dec for Q3
15th March for Q4

You can pay as much as you can actually. Income tax dept wont mind if you pay them more money in advance!

Yes, you can. As @sourpai mentioned, you need to make advance tax payments in 4 quarters.
15th June for Q1(15% of total tax must be paid)
15th Sept for Q2(45% of total tax must be paid)
15th Dec for Q3(75% of total tax must be paid)
15th March for Q4(100% of total tax must be paid)
The payments you make between 16 June & 15 Sept will be counted towards your second quarterly payment of advance tax.

Yes, you can pay advance tax at any time. These are the deadlines by which certain percentage of tax you have to pay, if not paid then penalty will be charged.

You pay according to FY anyways. Just that you need to pay a certain percentage of it by 4 quarterly deadlines.
