I saw a post here that mentioned indirect wallet recharge(Paytm through Uber for eg) gives reward Points and counts for monthly and annual milestones. Can anyone confirm if they have tried this, more importantly the milestone one?

This trick has stopped working. Now they are charging fees for wallet loads.

So my suggestion you should think of some different alternatives.

I tried to load, didn't get any extra charges when loading at least. Did you get the extra charge on the statement?

Yes. 4.35 % charges.

Paytm has differing charges based on usage and wallet to bank transfer rates I think. Even amazon pay restricts some users more than others i guess?

I tried it 10 days back, there were no extra charges in my case

There is no extra charges in statement, it's upfront depending on the account. It starts with 2.35% and goes upto around 4.35% depending on usage on an account. It's 3.35% for me right now. This is for direct load in paytm. Indirect load through uber doesn't have any charge but users who have been flagged can't reload through uber.

Oh that's interesting. So I assume if while loading it doesn't charge extra, you are good to go? And it counts towards all the benefits?

Yes, there won't be additional charges. But it won't be counted in milestones either unless the MCC is NOT of wallet load.
