Hi Guys,

I am creating this thread as it will help members who are planning to invest in Gold after closure of SGB(no confirmation on further tranches) and it was quite a struggle to get all information at a place.

I have attached the brochure of Malabar Gold and Diamonds various investment options.😄😄

Currently they a lot at investment schemes in gold and diamond. In gold one can easily get 14-18% off on VA and in diamond 20% discount they are giving through these schemes!!

Can you please upload images in proper orientation? some images are in reverse.
 
Why not GOLDBEES? Only considering as investment avenue not beauty.
What benefits these plans have over GOLDBEES when we consider the following
1. amount invested is equal to the 10gm gold price on that day
2. Time horizon is 5 years.
3. Possibility to liquidate the investment in case of any emergency.

Goldbees cannot be worn to parties, nor can the CCGeeks find innovative ways to maximize their investment in Goldbees.

Ek banda yahan pe enrolled in the Golden Harvest scheme from Tanishq and paid it through their Neu Infinity CC.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to gold.

Wrt Goldbees ki Taxbility, its is much better than physical gold mainly due to shorter Holding period for qualifying as LT

IMO Malabar is a better scheme monetary wise. Tanishq gives upto 75% value of your monthly investment as a benefit. So if your monthly investment is 10k, then you'll get upto 7500 as a benefit. I am saying upto because they have different bonus for different tenures ranging from 50% to 75% for 10 month to 12 month plans.

Malabar directly gives upto 18% discount on the making charges. Overall Malabar scheme is slightly better.
