Does sbi CB gives 5% with tanishq and other gold jewelry gift card purchases

Hi Guys,

I have a gold jewelry purchase of 2.5L to 3L coming up in Malabar. I'm trying to understand which would be a good card to use here? Is there any way where i can purchase gift cards via Amazon pay gift vouchers using SBI CB card and get 5% overall cashback on the transaction or is there any better way?

I have the below cards.

1. Amex MRCC
2. HSBC Live+
3. HDFC Regalia/ Swiggy/ Tata neu infinity
4. SBI CB
5. AU LIT
6. IDFC First bank
7. Axis Flipkar/ Myzone
8. Apay ICICI

Did anyone try buying gold jewelry gift cards like tanishq, Kalyan jewelers, etc from amazon using sbi cb and get 5% cb? I have around 2.5L to 3L spends on gold jewelry coming up.

First Purchase Amazon Gift Via Maximize for 1L vouchers, there you get 5000 cashback. For rest amount use something else.

Now with the same GV, purchase Kalyan/Tanishq GV from Amazon.

Just make sure the GV you are getting from Amazon is redeemable offline.

And before purchasing 1L Amazon GV do test purchase of 500 Kalyan/Tanishq GV with amazon gv( to confirm whether it can be brought with AGV or not).

Thank you mate. Maximize is still giving 5% cb with Amazon gift vouchers, right? i heard people saying that it gives a different MCC now. But i think it was with the swiggy card. Just wanted to be sure.

Yes, I just checked and it gives the option to pay via Amazon pay balance. I did not buy it though.
