Manual CLI for Cashback Card

I have a 10K limit on my Cashback Card and I sent a mail for manual limit Enhancement, now does SBI charge money/do cibil check for the same? If yes, which one or both?

My card is more than 6 months old and I am eligible for the limit increase, just haven't given a go ahead yet

Then go ahead apply formally. You may be asked if salaried person, 3 month salary slip along with 3 month bank statement.
There is some fee for manual CLI request but people reported here that SBI has not charged them any fee.
There may be Cibil enquiry if SBI decides for that.

I don't mind paying the fees however I feel this is scammy for SBI to do, offering pathetic limit without checking income/asking for it and then charging people to get the limit up.

The card has seen some devaluation too. I think I would wait two more months and then check with them for fee wavier or just close the card and be done with it.
