Marriott bonvoy points on paying via Zomato

I was planning to go to one of the restaurants at a Marriott hotel in my city and was wondering if i can pay via Zomato/swiggy and still earn points?

The Marriott bonvoy app shows a banner saying "Earn points on Zomato" and it takes me to the Zomato app to show a list of Marriott bonvoy restaurants in my city. The Zomato app also has a banner showing "earn points on dine-in"
but it seems to specify buffet so I'm confused whether this is valid only for buffet or even normal dine-out?

The type of offer will show on the zomato app only.

Add you mb card in zomato and pay with zomato app (using your mb card), when you're at the restaurant.

You can use the offer without the hdfc mb credit card. Just click via your marriott app, and pay in zomato with your choice of payment. Do read the TnC, just to be clear on the points accural process.

You can also go to marriott support from your marriott app, and ask for more info.
