I wanted to share a strategy I've been using to claim HRA (House Rent Allowance) and reduce my tax liability. I've been paying rent to my parents on paper and ensuring I have proof of the transactions by making direct bank transfers.
To further maximize the benefits, I'm considering using my credit card for rent payments. While finding the best credit card for this purpose is a separate discussion, I believe that even if I don't find the ideal card, I can still take advantage of milestone benefits.
I would appreciate it if you could suggest any applications you use to make rent payments (either monthly or yearly) using a credit card. If possible, please also mention the name of the credit card you are using for this purpose.
