Merchant reached limit of 2000 to accept payments via rupay upi

I was trying to pay a Paytm Merchant 1100 rupees using my SBI rupay credit card but I got this strange message that I have never seen before

Yup, for many merchants, PayTM allows only 2000 per day instead of 2000 per transaction on CC UPI.

Merchants can contact the PayTM CC or wait until they resolve it.
