Millenia debit card cashback on credit card payment

I had paid hdfc credit card payment with my millenia debit card through mobikwik. So will i get cashback of 1% or not because it is mentioned that payment of credit card bill will not accrue cashback points. Because someone said you will get is it true as on this date.

Yes.. because it's categorized under Utility / Online Spends (Merchant name : "Mobikwik")

I don't think it will incur 1% cb as it's not wallet load. Better would be to load wallet & pay on Paytm
If it's online spends then it must have incurred 2.5%
BTW, will Paytm GC buying incur 1% with HDFC Millenia DB?

Only Platinum card is eligible for 1%utilities payment cashback. He is using Millenia. I don't think that would attract cashback.
Only if you're loading wallet. Then buying GC from wallet balance. Otherwise it won't.
That's the problem. We don't know about MCC which are eligible under online spends as per HDFC.
But MobiKwik merchant is considered under Utilities category as it gives 1% cashback to Plat card users. So it won't attract 2.5% cashback according to me.

Even there is no guarantee that we can get cashback on Paytm wallet load as merchant name shows as 'Payment Payments' instead of 'Paytm wallet'. This is applicable for buying gift cards from Paytm.
It's very difficult to check as we have to wait for 3 months to get cashback. Now I use Platinum card, I closed millennia card in December 31. But one thing is sure, they were not providing cashback as I thought. Many months I missed cashback upto Rs 150. I tried all the ways to calculate real cashback, but still confusions are there for which transaction I got cashback and for which transaction I didn't receive
This is why Platinum card is better.
Utilities isn't excluded from Millennia CB, so he will get it either 1% or 2.5%
As per another forum (DD), 2.5% CB for "Mobikwik" merchant name, and 1% for "One Mobikwik..." merchant name for CC bill payments
yes "Mobikwik" does give 2.5% CB as per another forum (DD). "One Mobikwik..." will give 1% I guess
Paytm GC should give 1% atleast as it doesn't fall under exclusions :-

The point isn't about inclusion but about exclusion.. bcoz everything will fall under either online or offline spends.

According to me, exclusion is applicable to all but inclusion isn't.

Tried and Tested. As long as Mobikwik is Passing Utility MCC to HDFC Bank for Credit Card Bill Payments, HDFC will Credit 2.5%Cashback upto 400.
I had made many CC Bill Payments in past 2 years of Rs.16,000 per month.
Sometimes full 400 credited Sometimes less than 400 because Mobikwik Changed MCC frequently in past 2 years and Currently It sticks to Utility MCC which would definitely fetch 2.5 Cashback for Millennia debit card.
Either belive it or Melody Khao khud Jaan Jao

Dec me hi anual kata hai.. i want replace to platinum.. they will refund fee of millenia if replace?
There is no Separate MCC available to tag a Txn as Credit Card Bill Payment as of now
Your Paytm Txn Tagged under Wallet so 1% I.e, Rs.20
Your CC Bill Payment via Bajaj tagged under Insurance , and Insurance is excluded as per Tncs of Millennia.
CC Bill Payment Via Mobikwik tagged under Utility so 2.5% I.e, 250
Total Rs. 270
If txn gets tagged under excluded MCCs it would not fetch any Rewards otherwise minimum 1% is guaranteed and max upto 2.5% for CC Bill Payment via any Platform using millennia Debit card

I received about Rs 193 as cashback in February first week. If this is the cashback of October month, then my calculation is correct.
