I have missed my DBS CC bill payment by just 2 days, it's a new card, registered in CRED but didn't get notification that it's due.
Before due date I actually tried to pay once using SBI Unipay, but since it's not registered with BBPS, there was no option to pay there and I forgot to pay it.
Amount is just 838.20/- rupees, and it was due on 2nd October and I paid it on 4th October.
I've contacted their CC cust care, and spoke to 3 diff persons and no one had a clue about this CIBIL reporting.
Best thing they could say was asking me to contact CIBIL team or write to cardcareindia@dbs.com

What can I do or how can I word my email that I have the best chances to get it not reported?

how can I get a confirmation for this from the bank? read in this forum itself that, once it's reported it's hard to get it removed
You can write a mail to them, no other option in your case. Try ChatGPT and it'll help you make a convincing email. Do give it the context and explain exactly what you want in detail.

Absolutely nothing will happen. RBI mandates all banks to give a 3 day Grace period after your actual due-date which means that no bank can charge any Interest or report as late payment to CIBIL until those 3 days are over.

yeah found this from RBI website here

v. vCard-issuers shall report a credit card account as 'past due' to credit information companies (CICs) or levy penal charges, viz. late payment charges and other related charges, if any, only when a credit card account remains 'past due' for more than three days. The number of 'days past due' and late payment charges shall, however, be computed from the payment due date mentioned in the credit card statement, as specified under the regulatory instructions on 'Prudential norms on Income Recognition, Asset Classification and Provisioning pertaining to Advances' amended from time to time. Late payment charges and other related charges shall be levied, only on the outstanding amount after the due date, and not on the total amount due.
feeling peaceful now, after making 217 payments on time, missed it for the first time in my life
