Best hack is don't spend on unnecessary things.. and spend on unique experiences and value for money things.. Money not spent on unnecessary things is money saved.

1) create krisflyer account
2) do your bookings for experiences from pelago website as will be cheaper and generate krisflyer points. first time users get extra discount.
3) download kris+ and use krisflyer account, so if you do shopping with partner in Singapore, you generate points.
4) book an airbnb or if you have accor points, an accor hotel with points and use metro for transportation. Singapore's public transportation is great.
5) 5-7 days are enough to experience Singapore.
6) Visit Mustafa Centre if want to shop or browse things
