Money stuck in the pooling account for more than a month. Chargeback Rejected.

I am not sure where to post this but any suggestion is appreciated.

As the title says, My money has been stuck in a pooling account for more than a month.

So I made a transaction to my uncle's old merchant account (which I didn't know was not functional anymore) via Google Pay. Unfortunately, later I got to know that they have closed the account that was linked to their Google Pay for Business a long time ago. Ideally, the money should have returned to me in this case (confirmed by all the bank and Google pay executives I spoke to).

For the past month I have been trying to get my money back by all means.

I contacted my bank to raise a chargeback. The chargeback claim was rejected by Axis bank saying "Good/Services provided".(My uncle never had an Axis bank account. The closed account is not an Axis bank account).

I spoke to my uncle and got to know that no such confirmation was asked from him. This means that Axis bank has the money and are rejecting the chargeback claim without any confirmation.

I called GPay's customer care. There I got to know that the money was transferred successfully from my end. But on the other end of the transfer from the pooling account there is an error "Invalid IFSC code"(This is because the bank branch got closed. The reason why my uncle had close his account.) Since the UPI id ended with @okbizaxis. I am assuming the money is stuck in the pooling account(Probably Axis bank). But I don't understand why they rejected the claim.

I tried calling Axis bank helpline. They are not ready to listen unless you have an account in Axis bank.

Tried contacting NPCI helpline. And it was fruitless too.

What should be next course of action to get my money bank.

Raise RBI ombudsman complaint or if you find raise a complaint in NPCI website. Money should have been reversed in T+1 days.
The Ombusdman portal is asking for branch name and location of the bank. I don't know where this Axis bank is located in.

I have tried NPCI complaint. When I register the complaint, all I get is notification on the screen saying "Registered successfully" and nothing else after that.
Their helpline number is also useless.

You just select main branch of the area and write down the branch name in the compliant section on the top
It's worked when I compliant for IDBI BANK
Don't forget for compensation... It's imp

Google search the ifsc code of the closed axis branch and mention it in the written complaint. Otherwise as per the above comment input axis bank main branch ifsc, both should work and also someone is liable for compensating you for the delay. Do not forget to claim for compensation when you raise a complaint with RBIO.

Okay I will do that.

Should I complaint against axis bank or my jupiter(federal bank) for this issue in RBI ombudsman.
The money is stuck in axis bank(PSP account).

Like I have mentioned in the post.
The closed beneficiary account is not an Axis bank account. But my chargeback claim was rejected by Axis bank.(which here is the PSP 3rd party account).

I have no details on what that Axis account is. I just have the details of my account and the closed bank account of my uncle.
When I ask jupiter(Federal bank) team, they are blatantly saying we can't do anything since we have already raised one chargeback request. They can't raise another or conduct any sort of investigation.
Axis bank people say that they can't do anything without the detail of the Axis account.
So whom should I raise the complaint against in RBIO?

1. Send complaint email to jupiter customer care as well as federal Bank customer care, with transaction screenshot and other gpay chat ss

2. If they not get results within 15 days, goto their grievance tram,

3. even if no results from them withing 7 days, mail to federal Bank pno.
They must have to solve your issue within 7 working days.

Then only after you have to file complaint against federal Bank rbi portal

Because they have to resolve the issue

As far as I know, if payment not successful to merchant, then amount automatically transferred to souce bank escrow account from 3rd party pool account (in your case gpay's account)

So federal is liable to answer you and refund or return your money

But do 3 step mentioned above is must
