Multiple mobile number for different SBI Cards

Hi,

My bhabhi have SBI Prime CC. She has her email and ph no attached to it.

I am self employed and I myself have SBI Simplyclick card from many years and SBI always keep declining me for cashback card (declined twice already).

So I got my bhabhi to apply for cashback card. She is a govt employee and her card was approved right away after VKYC. The card will be delivered in few days (sms got already).

I will be using her cashback card, and paying all fees myself and she is totally fine with it.

Now, once the cashback card comes, I want my phone number (my alternative number, not the same ph no I have with my simplyclick card) for OTP's. Can I change my bhabhi's cashback card phone number? How? and I wanna make sure when I change ph no, her Prime card ph number stays the same (that is her own ph no).

Basically I wanna know can multiple cards of SBI which belongs to same customer can have different phone numbers??

Goes without saying I want my own email too for that cashback card but email part isn't important for now, most imp is the otp ph no.

Yess u can individually update mobile number in different SBI cards.

Basically I wanna know can multiple cards of SBI which belongs to same customer can have different phone numbers??

I myself have 3 numbers attached with 3 different sbi cards.

Process: After card delivery, u can raise request thru SBI CARD app or website.

If throws error, then u have to email them.

Mostly blood relatives only and takes primary card holders mob number by default.

In my case, otp for add on cards are also dropping on primary number even though I have given another number.

All 3 cards are visible in single app.

You can login using any of the three numbers and access all linked cards.

Few questions

- add on card on cashback card

* can I get it? as the card is of my bhabhi.
* if I get the add on, and I link my ph no (main number, which is also linked with my SBI Simplyclick card), will it decrease my chances to get cashback card for myself? or will i get declined just coz I have cashback add on card in future?
* can i make the payment not my bhabhi? She is CC n00b so she won't be using the cashback card, only me.
* will that add on card auto link to my simplyclick on online portal/app?

- I was thinking to link my alternative no to the cashback card, but I have used both my main and alternative number for getting declined for cashback card. Will SBI have a problem linking cashback card to a ph no. which was used to get declined??? I have seen reports people's card getting blocked for security reasons hence asking.

Basically if I get add on card, then I have asked Q's above but if I don't go with add on card route, will primary card registeration be seperated from my bhabhi's prime card? I don't want that card getting linked on online portal. If I change primary cashback card ph no, I guess I will get otp on new no, and even after otp it isn't approved right? sbi calls the primary card holder to complete the service req. What will they ask her and what's the process?

SBI is such an ass with credit card's really. Virtual card is also not getting generated. Shitty SBI and their services.

Downside of this is you'll need to reach out to your SIL everytime the card gets blocked for confirmation etc.

Yeah I know, this process is quite shitty. SBI is such an ass even though I am a SBI's customer, still they keep declining me for cashback card.
