Hi Friends

I've been using these credit cards for all my payments. Please suggest if i can do better with my CC combination.

1) SCB Ultimate -- For all other purposes
2) SCB Easemytrip credit card - Travel
3) AXIS Airtel - Broadband/DTH Payments
4) AXIS Myzone -- Movie Ticket Offer(1+1)
5) HDFC Regalia Rupay -- UPI Spends
6) HDFC Swiggy -- Food
7) AMEX MRCC -- 20K Milestone every month
8) SBI BPCL -- For Fuel

I used to rely on HDFC card and spend a lot of money. I've received an upgrade to DCB but not LTF. Somehow I've denied it. and then HDFC stopped all the offers. then I started building this credit card portfolio.

You have your expenses covered. But how are you planning to utilize your rewards? Are you looking for returns in the form of cashback or reward points that can be used for travel/vouchers? Based on that, you can modify your card portfolio. Also, if you have some major spends coming up your way (like a vacation/marriage), you can look for some milestone based cards that offer additional points. It'll be easy to recommend some cards if you can share your rough monthly expense breakups as well.

You got yourself covered for Fuel and Movie ticket. 8)SBI BPCL -- For Fuel👍 4) AXIS Myzone -- Movie Ticket Offer👍
For 7) AMEX MRCC - 6K per month gives better % rewards than 20K Milestone. Also prefer to buy the Amazon Gift cards from this amount.
6) HDFC Swiggy -- Food , this is a good card, better if you can go for HSBC Live+, this card will work for all the restaurants/swiggy/zomato. This card will be beneficial for BMS BOGO Tickets.
3) AXIS Airtel - Broadband/DTH Payments - its the perfect card for recharges and utility.

I have never used these cards :
1) SCB Ultimate -- For all other purposes
2) SCB Easemytrip credit card - Travel
5) HDFC Regalia Rupay -- UPI Spends

But I use AMEX Platinum Travel card along with AMEX Gold charge card for MR points - helpful with Travel tickets and Mariott Bonvoy.
For all other purposes - try AMEX Platinum if its accepted, else Regalia - check for Regalia Gold to upgrade if possible.
For UPI: Its Tata neu infinity plus as of now. Still searching for an alternative.

Another cards I have are:
SBI Cashback - for any other online purchase where I cannot get vouchers from SmartBuy.
IDFC First Vistara - For milestone if I get Flight Ticket else HDFC Regalia Gold/AMEX Platinum travel.

Search on youtube: "Amex Gold vs. MRCC: We Reveal the Winner in 2024 | Which card should you choose between the two?"

Exact purpose ??

5) HDFC Regalia Rupay -- UPI Spends
If the transaction value is under Rs 150 you are probably not getting any reward points.
Also, unless it a hawker / stall / small shop, if the seller accepts UPI they are likely to accept cards as well. In that case, you are better off using any of your cards that give you fractional points and doesn't insist on minimum Rs 150 spend or its multiples like HDFC or Axis.

Also, consider HDFC SmartBuy with your Regalia and Swiggy cards when for travel to see if it gives you a better value than your SCB EaseMyTrip.
Using HDFC SmartBuy for travel is the best use of your HDFC reward points.

I don't see any major expenses coming my way

I Spend around 50-55k per month across all these cards, the categories will be grocery, shopping on amazon/flipkart, some other random websites.
Grocery spends on Bigbasket, instamart, flipkart, Ratnadeep(Hyderbad).
