My Secret Method to Get Super-Premium Credit Cards (No Income Proof Needed)

Hey TFcians,

Did you know you can get a super-premium credit card from a bank even without submitting any income proof? Yes, you read that right.

Most people think income documents are mandatory for premium cards, but that’s not always true. Banks often extend pre-approved credit cards where no income proof is required. And in many cases, all it takes is a proper request to the bank. Remember one thing - banks won’t come to you to offer what you want; you must ask for it. They only pitch the products they want to sell, not what you need.

🔑 The Most Effective Method to Get Any Super-Premium Card

Apply using your net worth.

This isn’t a traditional method - you won’t find an application form for it - but it works. Indian banks have recently started offering their top-end cards to customers who show a high relationship value (TRV) or overall wealth profile.

Your net worth gives the bank confidence about your repayment capability, even if your reported income isn’t very high.

Even if you don’t maintain that net worth with the same bank, you can still get the card simply by requesting and showing them your financial profile.

Let me share my personal experience so you understand this better.

1. How I Got Cards Like IndusInd Heritage Metal, Yes Private, etc.

I don’t have extremely high income proof.
I also don’t maintain “private banking” level balances anywhere, because I believe there are far better ways to invest than locking money in banking products. And buying insurance or investment products from banks is one of the worst financial mistakes anyone can make.

What I did was simple:
  • I contacted the bank directly.
  • I clearly explained who I am, what I do, how much I earn.
  • I mentioned my total net worth.
  • I told them that I’m ready to provide a CA-certified net-worth certificate if required.
Using this approach, I managed to get multiple super-premium credit cards.
Interestingly, no bank ever asked me to actually submit the certificate.

2. My Amex Centurion Story

Back in 2022, I asked American Express if they could offer me the Centurion card. I shared my profile and net worth as usual.

An Amex Centurion Ambassador called me and confirmed that Amex was ready to offer me the card based on my profile. They asked me to first take the Amex Platinum, and once that was active, they would send me the invitation and upgrade me to Centurion.

I agreed to pay both the Platinum and Centurion annual fees, but I requested them to waive the one-time initiation fee of the Centurion card.

That request was not approved and I decided not to go for the card at that time.
Honestly, I don’t live the kind of lifestyle where 90% of Centurion benefits would matter to me.

Final Thoughts

There are many unorthodox ways to get a credit card. The regular application route is just one of them.
While no method guarantees approval, you can always request the bank to consider your application based on net worth or profile.

And always remember:

As a customer, you can ask a bank for anything. It’s their choice to approve or deny - but they will never proactively offer you exactly what you want.
If they approach you, it’s only to sell what they want to sell.
This mindset alone can unlock opportunities most people never even try for.

Thread of 2026, How to get Premium Cards 🫡🥳

Yes, banks have different types of teams to handle these type of things.
I have few experiences like that.
I have conversations with some personnels that were way beyond the limitations of general customer care executives, who mostly don't know about things that exists.

The main key issue here is exactly who would be the right contact person and finding him. Or else it would be like running in circle and finally giving up after a certain time. We should know the contact channel who can get these type of things done.
And if it's available or easy to crack then everyone will be getting Infinia soon 🤞🤞
Absolutely 💯
Point of contact is really really important

Don't need certificate...Keep money in account, they will run after you to take the card

They do not care what is your income...They believe in bank balance which is real...Income is temporary i.e. aaj hain kal nahin hain....Now banks have realized that issuing a CC based on income is most foolish thing...only thing matters is money in hand.

High income leads to high net worth leads to higher income. It's a catch 22 situation unless one has a generational wealth.

not necessary...i tripled my savings by investing in gold....Its all about how smartly you invest....i have zero generational wealth but achieved my Fat Fire number through investment only....

My actual income is just 25% of my net worth...Rest 75% is capital gain from 25%
