myth shattered : iphones just work

I feel like the negative PR is actually working in Apple's favour. The more people talk about them, the more they sell. I think sometimes Apple even deliberately does this, for example, by launching the sock thing or cleaning cloth at a ridiculous price. I used to wonder why they didn't fix their weird mouse, but they know people are gonna roast them, people keep talking about them and they get the publicity out of it.
Think you’re right. Misinformation spread against Apple by “sponsored” content doesn’t seem to affect the company. But Apple also has supreme confidence in its products, since it’s the only tech company that has never paid any influencer anywhere in the world.

Also, Apple launches products such as Pocket (which sold out within hours) and Polishing Cloth to probably maintain a premium aura around the brand since most of its products are in the flagship category. But everyone has the choice of not buying them. No one is going to judge you and me if we don’t have Apple Pocket or Polishing Cloth. We buy what we need.

Dumbest and most expensive phones of 2025 🤣🤣

Sirfiri apple non intelligence

Isheep after this.. Ai is a gimmick and useless anyways 🥹🥹

1. An April 2025 survey on AI by KPMG among 48,000 people in 47 countries showed that Indians (92%) use AI almost twice as much as people in developed countries (US only 53%, UK 52%, and other developed countries even less).

2. The same survey showed that Indians also trust AI systems twice as much as people in developed countries.

3. Pew Research Center’s October 2025 survey in 25 countries showed that 89% Indians trust AI a lot, compared to only 44% in US, 57% in UK, etc.

4. Anthropic’s own testing of world’s top 16 AI models in simulated environments in July 2025 concluded that AI repeatedly displays behaviour that is risky and harmful for humans, and even goes to the extent of threatening and blackmailing humans.

5. McDonald’s and Taco Bell in the US have stopped using AI to process orders.

I can keep adding facts endlessly, as I’ve far too much data than you can handle or process. World’s top scientists, researchers, analysts and even AI companies are repeatedly saying that AI in its current state is untrustworthy and a gimmick.

However, your tech choices and beliefs appear to be guided not by scientific proof and logic, but by “sponsored” content from influencers. Good luck.

People keep repeating things they hear without ever realizing the truth before it's too late. Don't waste your hard earned money just coz someone told you too. If you do buy it to just show off, consider better options to do that or at least realize that.

Nowadays forget innovation even basic features are broken on iios.

And don't even get me started on gemini vs siri... It's embarrassing

Bhai 100% agree 😭
15 Pro Max in hand, Siri still can’t understand “bhej do” properly, battery drops 10% just breathing, and updates only bring new bugs. Paid 1.6L for this “just works” experience lol. Next phone definitely going back to Pixel, no more Apple tax for me. Myth properly shattered.

Lol bro keep believing what you want and overlook AI just coz you want to continue your blind trust and confirmation bias in apple. I have been working in analytics for 20+ years and ai is changing things for those who know how to leverage it.

Instead of making blanket statements like ai is not trustworthy and ignoring it instead of finding use for ai in its current state is what distinguishes the intelligent folks from the herd right now but you keep believing the data that Supports your beliefs

Just coz some doctors are bad or their are times when doctors fail... Intelligent people don't avoid going to hospitals or doctors

Worlds top scientists and companies 😳😳are spending billions right now to use ai and train their workforce. Nobody worth their while or sane in their mind is ignoring ai. They are just telling people to put governance and checks around ai.

However people like you will only understand this when they are rightfully replaced by a human who knows how to use ai instead of ignoring it.

No, no, no. Don’t make wrong conclusions. I’m saying that AI is untrustworthy today not because of my personal experience. I don’t test AI models or products. What I’m saying is that, not only globally reputed organisations and people but AI companies themselves are also warning against their own AI products. Now, the interesting question is, whom do you believe, AI companies or “sponsored” influencers?

1. I’m surprised that an “analyst for 20+ years” provides no clear evidence, but only “sponsored” content and random bunch of words, to support one’s statements.

2. In fact, you replied to factual statements on AI with an emotional outburst against Apple.

3. So, you don’t even believe a comprehensive survey in controlled environments by one of the world’s biggest AI companies, Anthropic, which concluded that AI in its current state can be harmful for humans.

4. You don’t even know that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman himself has warned that we’re in an AI bubble right now.

5. You don’t even know that economists in the developed world are deeply worried that when the AI bubble bursts, it will take down not only AI companies and stock markets but also entire economies with it.

6. You don’t even know that every AI company has said that they cannot predict outcomes of their AI products, and that they don’t know why their AI models behave the way they do.

7. You don’t even know that companies across the world are ending or reducing their exposure to AI.

8. You seriously need to understand this: OpenAI, Anthropic and Google are not some random doctors in a random hospital disagreeing on a random medicine. They literally are AI, and they’re repeatedly warning us that there’re trust issues with their own AI products.

As would be clear to you by now, my understanding of tech (including AI and consumer gadgets being discussed here) comes from appropriate research, and I’ve sufficient independent evidence in support.

You being an analyst, and claiming to know a lot about AI and consumer tech, get all your knowledge on AI, Apple etc not from real research but from influencers? I would honestly want to know why.

Hahaha someone who said he doesn't use ai definitely used an ai bot to proofread and format his stuff

You keep talking about so called influencers but nobody else apart from you is talking about using influencers to do a job

Clearly you're just a troll and completely ignorant so keep trolling this is my last response to your post in this thread.

You win if that's what you were looking for. Be happy I'll see you in 3 years when you are regretting about not learning Ai.

Please don't use ai it's evil and useless. Keep believing.Nobody in the world is using or will use ai.

So, you’ve decided to not respond to my comments in this thread. You’re welcome. But since you’ve mocked me repeatedly, more so unprovoked, I reserve the right to respond once. I’m commenting on only some of your attacks:

1. “…you want to continue your blind trust and confirmation bias in apple.”
Reply: Where did I display blind trust and confirmation bias? During the course of my multiple researches, I gathered a lot of facts about tech companies that’re unknown in India. I only wanted to share these here since this is a public forum and meant for this purpose. You desperately wanted to stop me by mocking me. What’s your interest in this?

2. “…instead of finding use for ai in its current state is what distinguishes the intelligent folks from the herd…”
Reply: Just no. I tried using AI for work but I found it too dumb. The transformer model-based AI that you use today works by guessing sequences and subsequent words repeatedly based on the vast data it has been fed. It’s extremely limited in capabilities for my work since it cannot think like humans.

3. “…people like you will only understand this when they are rightfully replaced by a human who knows how to use ai…”
Reply: Wrong again. AI only mixes and matches what humans have already created. It is incapable of imagining something new like humans. The kind of work that I do requires me to constantly come up with differentiated ideas where AI is not of much use.

4. “Hahaha someone who said he doesn't use ai definitely used an ai bot to proofread and format his stuff”
Reply: No, dude. I only research and write on my own. AI-written stuff is too machine-like and predictable. Plus, my researching and writing on my own increases my potential and understanding by many notches. Despite being an AI expert, you’ve failed to recognise that this is not AI copy.

5. “…I'll see you in 3 years when you are regretting about not learning Ai.”
Reply: Deal. But we’ll need to check earlier than that. In 3 years, there probably won’t be AI (as we know it). It’s just like when internet arrived, everyone was told, learn how to use internet or you’ll fail. Today, there’s no internet to learn since internet is everywhere. Similarly, in 3 years, AI will likely be embedded in every product and service, and there’ll be no separate AI to learn or not use.

End note: Seriously, did you know that AI is killing the internet? But let’s leave this for the next time.
