Need advice for upcoming Dubai trip with family

Hi,

I am planning for a family trip to Dubai on April-May 2024.

Will fly from Mumbai.

Plan as of now :-

1) Flight :-

Raipur-> Mumbai by Indigo
Mumbai -> Dubai ->Mumbai by Emirates
Mumbai -> Raipur by Indigo

2) Hotel :-

In Dubai :- Taj or any luxurious Accor hotel nearby Dubai Mall

Stay Duration :- 4-5 Nights

Mumbai :-
After returning from Dubai, planning to stay for 2 nights at Taj Tower.

3) Activity :-

I will be depending on Klook for tickets. Any suggestion for places to cover will be appreciated.

Places I have in mind :- Burj Khalifa, Desert Safari, Meena Bazar, Lightning show

Mom & spouse intend to buy some jewelleries too. So any good place recommendation will be appreciated.

4 ) Cards I have:-

Only mentioning premium cards :- Atlas, EPM, DCBM

Spouse Premium Cards :- Infinia Metal, Platinum Travel, SBI Elite, Axis Vistara Signature

Dad Premium Cards :- Infinia Metal

So kindly suggest me a itinerary & what Cards to use for better rewards.

Budget not an issue. Just wanna have good time with family.

Visa I should apply with Emirates directly as I will be flying with them or any other recommendation. Kindly suggest.

Is it better to do desert safari in Abu Dhabi or in Dubai? Or do any safari operators take us to roughly the same location in the desert regardless of whether we book it from Dubai or Abu Dhabi?

Do it in the city you live in. Both are same / similar.

If you are inclined towards doing activities, you may check for
1. Yas Water World
2. Ferrari World
3. Warner Bros
4. Sea World

Some pointers that may help:
1. Buy Medjool dates, they are delicious and cost half as much as in India
2. For booking cabs and ordering food I have used careem app
3. Do install Botim app for calls to India as calls via Whatsapp will not work. Even reciever should have the app installed.
4. For booking activities, you may try Klook or Headout. For some activity bookings, I have used City Laila (Over whatsapp), provided the best price.
5. For vegetarians options, I often visited Bikanervala in Dubai Mall, Dubai. You can find many if ordering from Careem app.

After booking the ticket on Manage Booking page. It generally comes at the bottom of the page at tee ticket details and some ads.
