Need Advice: Reactivating or Converting a Dormant ICICI Mine Zero Bal Account

I opened a ‘Mine Zero Balance’ variant account with ICICI online in 2021. However, due to incomplete KYC, the account became dormant or was closed two years ago. Now, I want to know if I visit their branch and complete the KYC, will they reactivate the same account or convert it into a regular savings account with the same account number, or will I have to open a new account?

yesterday, I visited icici branch with a 1 lakh cheque to open a Privilege Account they fill up all details on his tab + fingerprint + photo and visited my home for verification. give me an instakit and say in 24 hour account will be open. after 24 hr (today) he called me for Authentication Code after taking this said in 1 hr. and I received this message after i cut that call
"Dear ROHIT KUMAR, you have opted for an ICICI Bank Privilege Program Savings Account with Programme Relationship Value Requirement. To know more about your Relationship Value Requirements, click here bit.ly/3Z8L97T. Your request will be completed in 3 working days. T&C apply."
now what and exactly how much time does it take?

For complete account activation it may take upto 3 working days...

I believe the branch personnel are not interested in opening an account or there may have been some issues. As there has been no communication until now, I have stopped the cheque and informed them. I have also lodged a complaint on Twitter and via email.

I had a similar issue during online account opening. But I visited the branch and they opened a new basic account immediately. I am surprised they didn’t open your account.

I hope you should have some patience.

Your account need to be opened + cheque need to be cleared until then your ac may not be activated.......

how much time they take for this opened process
Take all details on tab + photo of docs/mine + fingerprint authentication + home visit and also fillup few additional things on tab + again mine photo with home
after that next day authentication code which is also in tab (whole process online)
Cheque already stoped + if ac will be open i will surely issue a new cheque but not like in this situation where no update or lie

(on the 09th they say in the evening ac would be open | on 10th at the time of taking the authentication code said in 1 hr ac will be open)
after that nothing update or communication from their side

I approached them for an update on 10 april 2024. He mentioned something about a rejection due to an old account closure but did not provide clear information. He asked for my old account number, which I promptly shared. Despite this, he seemed clueless and informed me that he would update me on April 12, 2024.
no one called me or approched for any update (reason maybe cheque stopped)
